About The Owner

Nicole Reynolds was born and raised in Buffalo, NY. She first realized she had a passion for helping people when she was in high school. During study hall, Nicole was a teacher assistant for a special education department. She then pursued schooling at Erie Community College (ECC) in Williamsville, NY where she received her Associates in Applied Science (AAS) as an Occupational Therapy Assistant.

From there Nicole moved to Erie, Pennsylvania where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science (BS), then progressed to her Master’s Degree in Science (MS), with a degree in Occupational Therapy. 

Throughout schooling, Nicole had a close member of her family develop Parkinson’s Disease. Nicole always had a passion for Neurology and how the brain-body connection works. 

After settling in Florida, Nicole received certifications in the LSVT BIG program for those with Parkinson’s Disease, PWR! (Parkinson’s Wellness Recovery) for Parkinson’s Disease, and became a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP.

Working with those with Parkinson’s and other movement disorders, Nicole quickly realized how important it is to take a total body approach to health, therefore, Nicole received certification as a Health Coach (CHC). She has seen first hand people getting better and staying better by taking a total body approach. Nicole felt it was her duty to share and educate other health professional the importance of total body health.

Therapists at Optimal Daily Living understand we have to look at the person from a holistic lens rather than just simply a “body part.” This is where we stand apart. Looking at the body from the outside in, and the inside out is how we can truly achieve Optimal Daily Living.
